If I want to use the measurement in the morning, I get an error message: "No data available on Coros Cloud". If I deactivate "Use morning ECG", data will be imported. My watch is the Pace 3, latest firmware version. What could be the reason for this?

hi Chris, the reason is that Coros has recently changed the process (from the ECG index to the wellness check), and the APIs haven't been updated yet. This will be resolved in the future, but in the meantime you can also enter the data that you see in the wellness check as part of the questionnaire, using Manual Input: https://marcoaltini.substack.com/i/140250699/manual-input - Thank you

I am using HRV4Training with night time HRV from COROS Pace 3. I notice that the resting HR that the COROS app shows is a few beats per minute higher than what HRV4Training shows, HRV is the same though. I definitely think that COROS resting HR measurement is slightly higher than what I would manually measure but what is the reason for HRV4Training's lower HR.

Hi there! Via the APIs we have access to your average heart rate of the night, which we think should be used in this case (same as for the average HRV). The Coros app however doesn’t report this info, and therefore it is not what is called resting heart rate in the app. A bit confusing but I hope this clarifies, thank you and happy end of the year

That makes sense. Thanks again for the explanation. Happy New Year and thanks for a great product!!

Hi! As a Coros user and as of today also a hrv4training user, I have just started using overnight hrv with coros. Using the ecg measurement from coros is not an option, its either the camera measure or overnight hrv by manuelly entering. What do you recommend? Both at the same time is not possible i assume? If hrv4training will read overnight hrv directly from coros in the future, possibly the best option is manually entering this for now?

hi Victor, with the latest version of the app you should be able to pick either morning ECG or night PPG. Indeed one needs to be picked, depending on your preference. My recommendation is a morning routine, but if that doesn't work for you, the night data is available since today's version.

Thanks for the reply. You will still need to go through the questionnaire in hrv4training in order to obtain best possible data every day, right? Will there be an integration in the future where the questionnaire can be answered through the coros app in some way?

thank you Victor. No, we will only read the data via the APIs. The questionnaire is there mostly for you, so that you can contextualize the data, which will make it easier to interpret it when you look back at potential factors that are influencing your physiology. Thank you and happy holidays!

Hi Marco, first of all, thank you so much for all the constant improvements! I would like to know if HRV values from HRV4training could be send to coros. In order to use this values and not be necessary to repeat measurements with the watch.

thank you Esther! We cannot send the data to Coros, but you could measure with Coros and then read it in our app, so that only one measurement is taken, via the Coros ECG functionality. In the future we will also add the possibility to read from Coros the night HRV data, something they are currently working on.

Hey, I can't get any data synced from the morning HRV reading on my Coros. I have an older Coros Apex Pro but with latest firmware. Is this watch not supported? I see values in the Coros app but nothing in HRV4Training. Setup account and follow all instructions. Not sure what to try next.

hello Pelle, thank you for trying this out. Coros is restructuring their APIs, meaning that the latest beta firmware behaves differently (you should see a health snapshot feature after taking a measurement in the morning). Long story short, in the next weeks / months, this will be resolved and automated, but in the meantime you should be able to enter the data as part of the questionnaire in HRV4Training, if you can locate it in the coros app: https://marcoaltini.substack.com/i/140250699/manual-input - thank you

Just upgraded to an apex 2 pro so I could use this feature. However the HRV4Training app just crashes now when I click the “read from Coros” button. I’ve done the HRV reading on the watch and it’s synched and visible on the Coros app…

Hi Rob, maybe try to relink or a reinstall.

OK - I will sheepishly admit I forgot to do the link step. I had only changed the default mode to Coros and hadn’t scrolled all the way down to click the toggle to link to Coros. It now works, thanks.

Thanks for reporting this Rob, we’ll improve the procedure
