thanks Will! I tried different things and eventually keeping it very tight and slightly rotate it towards the inner part of the wrist made the difference. This probably has to do with my anatomy, but I could see that just wearing it tight wasn't sufficient, when it was sitting in the middle of my wrist. A good test is running a long downhill, as the movement is much greater, it easily locks into cadence, unless it is working well.
