To measure aerbic efficiency and cardiac decoupling, should you warm up in a separate recording to the main workout, or the warm up taken care of in the algorithm?
hi Peter, for this analysis it is sufficient to have ‘laps’ recorded automatically (hence we recommend to use the Strava integration), no need to split workouts. The training intensity analysis would however benefit from splitting them, so if you have one or two hard sessions per week, I’d still split those and leave all other (lower intensity) sessions as they are.
Hello Marco, Thank you for coming back. You have got it, I have the Basic TP account. I have also the Coach account and I coach - among others - myself, so I do not need the Premium. Maybe I consider t upgrade because I do not use Strava.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the app and your knowledge. I read your post "How to turn the worst running economy ever measured into sub-3-hour marathon performance in only 14 years"; it is really great and must read for all endurance runners. As a coach I can see almost every day that "weekend warriors" dislike to run easy and it is quite challenge to explain and persuade them to slow down and take it easy!
Hi Marco, I have been usinh HRV4Training Pro since October 2023 and it is connected to my TrainingPeaks account. So there should be a lot of recordings from my runs and training, but I have not seen any results or analysis in Lactate Threshold ..., FTP, VO2max Estimation and Aerobic Endurance Insights. Please, could you provide me some guidance, how to get it? Thanks a lot for your kind help. Tomas Bicik
hello Tomas, thank you for your message and support. Do you have a premium account for TP? I am asking because they do not let us access heart rate data without a premium account, and those analytics won't work without heart rate data. A workaround could be to use a Strava account, even a free and private one should allow you to read heart rate data in the app.

Good luck with your running and life too! Tomas
Thank you Tomas! Same for you, all the best
