Hello, I am new to HRV tracking. I have downloaded the HRV4training app and I was wondering if any wearable would be compatible with it fir morning HRV measurements. Which ones do you recommend, I am buying a Polar H10 for tracking HR during exercise, will that be OK? Thank you.
Thanks Marco, i think I read somewhere that the camera is just as hood and validated in studies. But when I did a practice run on the app it said quality is poor. I was using it under bright light but covered the camera and flash completely. Android phone.
that can happen on Android unfortunately, as there are more inconsistencies between phones (different brands, cameras, etc.) - hence in this case I would definitely recommend the H10 if you don't mind.

thank you Sherdil, and yes, that is the best sensor to measure HRV, good choice!

OK,
1. I wake up and lie in bed whilst I put on the strap and then sit up to take reading.
2. Or, go to living room put on H10 lie down and then wait 2 mins to take a reading?
Sorry, but I just want to get as accurate measurements as I can, i prefer number 2, but would.like your input. Thanks for your help.
2 works great!
Thank you!
