Podcasts 🎙️ Using Heart Rate Variability Effectively
Some useful pointers from Jason Koop and others
I was recently catching up with Jason Koop’s podcast and listened to two episodes that you might find interesting.
In particular, our work with HRV4Training is mentioned twice, first in Jason’s conversation with Luca Filipas, in which they discuss periodization.
Here Jason covers how, in practice, HRV4Training is used to collect physiological and subjective data, and how this data is used in the decision-making process with the elite athletes he coaches. You can find the episode here:
In a second episode discussing race recovery, Jason covers HRV again in this specific context, highlighting once again many important points, which you can listened to here:
If you are on this blog because of your interest in physiology and training, you’ll enjoy these episodes.
Special thanks to Jason (and Luca and Neal) for your support, it certainly made my day.
